- SMRITI VAN The Smriti Van is the first Zone of the Park and was developed much before the other areas. The Smriti Van has existing trees planted by people from all walk of life,in memory of their beloved and departed ones, making it an unforgettable experience with sweet memories and captivating green environs. In the process, unshering in a cool, comfortable relief to visitors.
- As a foreground to the Humayun's tomb, the Fragrant Garden bridges the past with the present. It has shrubs and trees,along with White-scented flowers. This enhances the aura of the tomb at night,making it a moonlit garden emitting fragrance everywhere. The scents from plants are an aesthetic experence.They have very elusive,undefinable qualities which get captured in the human psyche.
- The Foliage Garden lies at the junction of Ring Road and Bhairon Road. A Railway embankment and the drain passes through the site. Towards the junction a fountain is provided as a focal point. The Railway embankment has been upgraded by providing terraced planting. Different foliage will be planted in a way to add colours to environments.
- The Bougainvilla Garden presents a riot of colours and spread an air of romance. Conceived as a terraced garden, it is splashed with a rainbow of colours sprawling over the total area. A universe of Bougainvilla shades of practically every Varity, from climbers, standard shrub to tree species, brightens up the environs, making it vibrant and inviting. The children 's play area is designed as apart of this zone, which compliments the vitality of the garden. Play equipments, sand pits and toddler's play areas are meant for children of all age group.
- This area is visually important, highlighting the purana Quila in the backdrop.In the Topiary Garden,the plantation has been deliberately kept low. The garden has been designed as a well kept and manicured area in such a manner, that people can appreciate the art of topiary. Sitting terraces have been carved out of the existing topography.
Another milestone in Landmark Greens is INDRAPRASTHA PARK created over
an area of 34 ha., strecthing 2.7 k.m. along the Ring Road. An example
of transforming sanitary landfill site into living, breathing and verdant
landscapes.
It is situated Along the Ring Road, Punctuated by the Railway Line in
the rear and lies between ISBT-Sarai Kale Khan and Bhairon Road.Some of
Delhi's historic monuments form the backdrop to the park. The Millennium
Park is DDA's response to the needs of the Urban populace, with access
to green areas, along-with breathtaking and natural surroundings.
