For Sanction/Addition/Alterations:
If a person intends to erect or re-erect or make alterations in a building,
he/she shall give notice in writing in the prescribed form (Form 1 Appendix
'A' Bye-Law No.6.1) and such notice shall be submitted in the proforma
along with requisite documents, fee and charges mentioned therein.(Refer
Annexure
'A').
Procedure during construction of Building
: The owner/applicant who has been granted such building permit
shall intimate the Authority in writing before 7 days of starting of
construction work at site in the prescribed form (Form III, Appendix
'B', Bye Law No.7.2.1). He shall obtain an acknowledgement from the
Authority of this notice (Refer Annexure
'B').
Validity Period of Building Plans:
The building plans shall remain valid from date of sanction as mentioned
below:
For residential, Industrial & Commercial (upto 4 stroreyed
building.) - 2 years
For large complexes and multi stroreyed buildings and institutional
buildings. - 3 years
No building activity can be carried out after the expiry of validity
of such building permit.
The building plans can be revalidated for a period of one year at
a time form the date of expiry of validity of original permit.
Revalidation of Plans
The original sanctioned plan is required to be submitted with a letter
of request for revalidation along with time extension letter from the
Lease Deptt. if necessary.
Plinth Level Permit : Ministry of Urban
Development and Poverty Alleviation, Govt. of India, vide notification
No.S-O1154(E) dated 21.11.2001 abolished C & D Certificates and introduced
intimation of completion of work up to plinth level. Every owner/lessee,
is required to submit information of completion of work upto plinth
level in the prescribed form and such notice shall be submitted in the
proforma along with requisite documents, fee and charges mentioned therein.

Completion-cum-Occupancy Certificate :
No person shall occupy or allow any other person to occupy any building
or part of a building for any purpose until such building or part has
been granted the occupancy certificate.
Every owner/ lessee is required to submit a notice of Completion cum
Occupancy Certificate of the building in the prescribed form (Appendix
B-3) Bye Law No.7.5.2. and such notices shall be submitted in the
proforma along with the requisite documents, fee and charges mentioned
therein.(Refer Annexure
'D').
Provisional Occupancy Certificate and Completion
Certificate for Co-operative Group Housing Societies, Govt. Departments,
Govt. Institutions, Charitable Trusts and Wakf Board: No person
shall occupy or allow any other person to occupy any building or part
of a building for any purpose until such building or part has been granted
the provisional occupancy certificate. Every owner/ lessee is required
to submit a notice of Provisional Occupancy Certificate and Completion
Certificate of the building in the prescribed form (Appendix
B-3) Bye Law No.7.5.2. and such notices shall be submitted in the
proforma along with the requisite documents, fee and charges mentioned
therein.(Refer Annexure
