Football Promotion Scheme

• Conducted at the Siri Fort and Yamuna Sports Complex, this scheme includes organized training in football for children between 10 and 16 years of age.
• Launched in the year 2002, this scheme is entirely sponsored by DDA.
• 75 children have already been selected in talent-search trials.
• Besides professional training under expert coaches, trainees are also provided with playing kit and diet allowance.
• Under this scheme, two prize money tournaments are held, one for the Delhi Senior League (in association with Delhi Soccer Association) and another football tournament for the schools in Delhi. The senior tournament has now been improved to National level.
